An outlet just opened at the Kopitiam near my house, so of course we had to give it a try! It was actually pretty good, for coffeeshop fare.

Prime tenderloin with fries and potato salad

Prime ribeye with mashed potato and coleslaw

Hickory BBQ chicken with house salad and pasta salad

The noodles have to be SPRINGY. It’s so important!

Tried two new dishes this time –

Seafood platter (for 1)

Swordfish collar with spicy mango vinaigrette. The collars are truly humongous — doesn’t seem that way in the pictures, but – trust me – they ARE

NYDC, Wheelock Place

A mishmash of everything — fries, samosas, popiah, sushi…

the mango pudding was gooood!

Golden mushrooms and scallops wrapped in beef

Flavoured rice with mixed meats

Crispy noodles with beef. Very fragrant

Their xiaolongbaos are really good! The best I’ve tasted so far (although they do look kind of drab and unappetising in this picture. hehe)

Other stuff we had — crispy eel (in the background), and la mian with pork ribs

Fish & Co

We’ve been eating so much Fish & Co lately because my father only just discovered its yumminess…!

Calamari, to start us off…

Fish & chips. I order this most of the time. They claim it’s “the best in town” — not sure about that, but it *is* pretty good! It’s crispy on the outside, but the meat is tender

New York Fish & chips — stuffed with cheese. I’m not sure why that makes it Newyorkian, though…
