An outlet just opened at the Kopitiam near my house, so of course we had to give it a try! It was actually pretty good, for coffeeshop fare.

Fish & Co

May 11, 2008

We’ve been eating so much Fish & Co lately because my father only just discovered its yumminess…!

Calamari, to start us off…

Fish & chips. I order this most of the time. They claim it’s “the best in town” — not sure about that, but it *is* pretty good! It’s crispy on the outside, but the meat is tender

New York Fish & chips — stuffed with cheese. I’m not sure why that makes it Newyorkian, though…

Frankly, their food is just so-so. Especially the steaks. You get what you pay for, I guess. But we go there occasionally, anyway, because it’s just so near!

Complimentary garlic bread

Seafood in a basket

Filet mignon — the steak was pretty tasteless, unfortunately

Chicken cordon bleu

This was at the Century Square outlet (Tampines).

Smoked salmon pasta. The salmon is curled into little rolls… beautiful!

Mushroom ragout

Coffee Club @ Somerset.

ETA (30 June 2008): Unfortunately, my sister’s favourite dish (rosemary chicken) isn’t on the menu anymore… neither is the mushroom ragout (pictured), which was good. The portions also seem somewhat smaller, and the food just isn’t as tasty anymore. We used to like eating at the Coffee Club, but I doubt we’ll go back as often now.
